As is typical for THEO & EMMA, our raincoat for dogs can be individually adjusted to the back length and chest circumference of your dog using our modular system. For example, if you have a particularly narrow dog, you can simply choose the chest band of your dog raincoat one or two sizes smaller. The COOPER dog raincoat is handcrafted from a waterproof fabric made in Europe to the usual high quality. The fabric of our raincoat has a pleasant textile surface, similar to that of a trench coat. A waterproof and windproof layer has been applied to the underside of the material using a foam coating process. The raincoat is therefore waterproof up to a water column of 5,000 mm.
Functionality meets design
The neck of our raincoat for dogs is cut comfortably wide, so that your dog has enough space to move around, but you can also easily reach in with your hand and attach the leash.On uncomfortable rainy days, you can close the neck of the raincoat using a drawstring at the top of the neck. If it is also cold, you can put a loop or scarf on your dog. By the way, you can find practical and super soft fleece loops in various colors as accessories.
The raincoat for dogs has a large 2-way zipper for harness wearers. The leash can be ideally guided through the zipper on the back of the dog raincoat and locked in the appropriate place with both zippers. The zipper is protected from direct rain and moisture by a panel.
Your dog's safety is very important to us
With our COOPER dog raincoat, we also thought about your dog's safety. With a reflector band running around the entire coat, your dog will be clearly seen by all road users, even in poor light and visibility conditions. The chest band on both sides of the dog raincoat also offers additional safety.The dog raincoat can be washed in the washing machine at 30°C. We recommend washing with mild detergent. After washing, the coat should be hung up damp. Do not use fabric softener. This destroys the function of the coat.

Care instructions
How do I measure my dog?
To ensure your coat fits, we recommend measuring your dog before ordering.
- Your dog must stand upright and straight during the measurement , with the head in an upright position as shown in the illustration.
- Back length (green line): Please measure with a flexible tape measure the length between the bottom edge of a loose-fitting collar along the back line to the base of the tail.
- Chest circumference (orange line) To determine the chest circumference, please measure the circumference of your dog’s chest with a measuring tape at the widest or highest point . If your dog regularly wears a harness under their coat or has a lot of fur, please take this additional circumference into account.
- Neck circumference (purple line) To determine the correct neck circumference, place a tape measure around your dog's neck and measure the circumference where your dog normally wears the collar. Allow two fingers of space between the tape measure and the neck.

Exchange
Returns for exchanges are free of charge for all orders from Germany. If you would like to exchange your order, please register your exchange on our returns portal and return your goods to us within 7 days of registration.
Return costs from outside the EU or North America are to be paid by the customer.
To register on our returns portal, you'll need your email address and the order number, which you can find on your invoice or order confirmation. The order number begins with "TE."
The prerequisite for an exchange is an unused, original packaged and flawless product.
If your returned item shows signs of wear, we will unfortunately have to decline the exchange. In this case, we will return your item to you.

If you would like to return your order to us, please register your return as a return on our returns portal .
To register on our returns portal, you'll need your email address and the order number, which you can find on your invoice or order confirmation. The order number begins with "TE."
For returns from Germany, we are happy to provide you with a DHL shipping label. We charge a flat rate of €4.50 for the DHL shipping label, which we will deduct from your credit note. Of course, you can also return your return to us at your own expense if you do not wish to receive a DHL shipping label from us.

What is Mix & Match System?
Our dog coats consist of two parts: the actual coat and the chest band.
Both parts can be chosen in different sizes .
For example, if you have a slim dog, you can choose a chest strap in a smaller size than the coat. This will ensure a coat that's long enough to adequately protect your dog's back, but not too wide around the chest, which would otherwise slip like many other brands.
Our dog coats fit both in length and width and therefore do not slip.
What is the fit guarantee?
Our dog coats can be customized to your dog's exact measurements by choosing different coat and chest strap sizes. With very few exceptions, we've been able to satisfy almost every dog owner so far.
If your coat doesn't fit right away, we guarantee that we will exchange your coat until it fits your dog.
Otherwise, you will receive your money back within 30 days - provided the coat complies with our return policy.
Do our coats have leg loops?
No, our dog coats don't have leg loops. By choosing the right size using our Mix & Match system, they stay in place even without leg loops, giving your dog ideal freedom of movement.

What is the difference between a dachshund coat and a standard coat?
Our dachshund coats are specially tailored to the dachshund's anatomy. Due to the shorter legs and chest, we've tailored the cut of the coat specifically to this, creating a fit that prevents your dachshund from tripping in his coat or restricting his movement.
