During the measurement the dog should stand upright and straight , with the head in an upright position, as shown in the figure.
Back length (green line) The length of the back line between the neck and the base of the tail is measured with a flexible measuring tape. A good reference point for the base of the neck is the lower edge of the collar .
Chest circumference(orange line) To determine the chest circumference, use a tape measure to measure the circumference of your dog’s chest at thewidest or highest point .
Neck circumference (purple line) To determine the correct neck circumference, place a measuring tape around your dog's neck and measure the length where your dog normally wears the collar. There should be two fingers of space between the measuring tape and the neck.
