We've made our bestseller even better for you and your dachshund. Compared to the 2024 model, our new Oskar features even better insulation with 18mm thick fiber insulation, keeping your dachshund cozy and warm under its coat. We've also added a collar opening in all sizes.
HIGH-QUALITY BAR
The three-layer construction of OSKAR consists of a waterproof and breathable membrane outer layer in olive green, navy blue, and pumpkin orange. The second layer is made of 18mm thick synthetic wadding, which is 45% recycled polyester. With our new Oskar for Dachshunds, your dachshund will be even better protected from the cold winter temperatures. The inside features an anti-static lining that won't rustle when putting it on or taking it off. Your dachshund will love Oskar.
PRACTICAL
The collar closes with an internal drawstring and features a collar slot protected by a buttoned flap, now available in every size. This allows you to thread the collar's D-ring through and easily leash your dachshund without letting its neck get cold.
On the back, you'll find a zipper through which you can attach a harness worn underneath the coat. The double zipper allows you to close and lock the zipper again after threading the leash through. After all, you want your dachshund to stay warm and dry, even with a harness.
SECURITY
Your dachshund's safety is of utmost importance to us. We want to ensure your dachshund always returns home safe and sound, even during the darker months.
For better visibility in traffic, we have incorporated reflective strips into both the chest straps and the coat. These make your dachshund highly visible in traffic due to their high reflectivity.
Additionally, you can easily attach an Orbiloc® safety light to the outside of the coat. We've incorporated a tab into every coat for this purpose, making it particularly easy to attach a safety light without any additional accessories. This ensures your dachshund is always clearly visible, and the frustration of a light-up collar slipping down the coat's collar is a thing of the past.
DESIGN
OSKAR is optimally adapted to your dachshund's anatomy. The winter coat's flat-cut chest prevents your dachshund from tripping into it. The shoulder area, on the other hand, offers ample freedom of movement. A molded design at the hind legs ensures that the coat keeps your dachshund warm even when they are active.
This means your dachshund will no longer have to struggle with leg straps. Thanks to a cutout in the tail area, your dachshund can carry its tail up high.

How do I measure my dog?
To ensure your coat fits, we recommend measuring your dog before ordering.
- Your dog must stand upright and straight during the measurement , with the head in an upright position as shown in the illustration.
- Back length (green line): Please measure with a flexible tape measure the length between the bottom edge of a loose-fitting collar along the back line to the base of the tail.
- Chest circumference (orange line) To determine the chest circumference, please measure the circumference of your dog’s chest with a measuring tape at the widest or highest point . If your dog regularly wears a harness under their coat or has a lot of fur, please take this additional circumference into account.
- Neck circumference (purple line) To determine the correct neck circumference, place a tape measure around your dog's neck and measure the circumference where your dog normally wears the collar. Allow two fingers of space between the tape measure and the neck.

Exchanges are free for all orders from Germany. If you wish to exchange your order, please register your exchange in advance on our returns portal and send us your goods within 7 days of registration.
Return shipping costs from EU countries or North America must be paid by the customer.

If your returned goods show signs of use, we will have to reject the exchange. In this case, we will send your goods back to you.

What is Mix & Match System?
Our dog coats consist of two parts: the actual coat and the chest band.
Both parts can be chosen in different sizes .
For example, if you have a slim dog, you can choose a chest strap in a smaller size than the coat. This will ensure a coat that's long enough to adequately protect your dog's back, but not too wide around the chest, which would otherwise slip like many other brands.
Our dog coats fit both in length and width and therefore do not slip.
What is the fit guarantee?
Our dog coats can be customized to your dog's exact measurements by choosing different coat and chest strap sizes. With very few exceptions, we've been able to satisfy almost every dog owner so far.
If your coat doesn't fit right away, we guarantee that we will exchange your coat until it fits your dog.
Otherwise, you will receive your money back within 30 days - provided the coat complies with our return policy.
Do our coats have leg loops?
No, our dog coats don't have leg loops. By choosing the right size using our Mix & Match system, they stay in place even without leg loops, giving your dog ideal freedom of movement.
